A huge thank you to the 501st Wish Force NC for showing their support at our Azalea Festival dig site! 🌟 Their presence brought smiles, sparked curiosity, and reminded us how powerful community partnerships can be — even from a galaxy far, far away. 🛡️✨
Please consider supporting the amazing work they do through Make-A-Wish by making a donation to their cause. Together, we’re making dreams come true — both in the past and the present.

We were honored to welcome Miss North Carolina USA, Kenzie Hansley, to our dig site at the Azalea Festival! 👑 Her genuine interest in archaeology and hands-on enthusiasm made a lasting impression on everyone — she even stepped right in to help sift for artifacts!
Kenzie is not only a role model for young women across the state but also a shining example of grace, curiosity, and community spirit.
Please consider supporting her journey and the incredible work she’s doing to uplift others through her platform. Girls On Fire
Special Thanks to Christine Sprow, Executive Board Secretary for Public Archaeology Corps for organizing this event in under a week. She is a rockstar at PAC!
